Luxury housebuilder Duchy Homes is celebrating a successful six years of trading and is set on significant further expansion as it heads towards its first decade on the housebuilding market.
Since its foundation in Yorkshire in 2011, Duchy Homes has grown significantly through thoughtful investment and a focus on building only the best luxury homes on small, well-placed developments to offer exclusivity, comfort and attention-to-detail to all its homebuyers.
Now with four divisions across the north of England and the Midlands, Duchy Homes has quickly earned a reputation for the highest standards in design, safety and quality, recognised by its repeated triumph year-on-year in the industry-acclaimed NHBC Awards.
Thanks to the collective hard work of its committed employees, the support of new significant investors, and a recently-granted revolving credit facility, Duchy Homes is on-plan to move from a small builder to a medium-sized operation over the next four-to-five years.
To support this exciting expansion plan, Duchy Homes is investing in a business-wide recruitment drive to build its teams in readiness for its planned growth. Its strong reputation attracts the best-skilled people and Duchy Homes has hand-picked its highly-experienced team to bring a wealth of design innovation and homebuilding knowledge that ensures the houses they create will continue to be of the highest quality.
Dave Jones joined at the head as CEO in July 2017 to govern this scaling-up, and the developer will soon be bringing in HR professionals, a new Group Finance Manager, and IT expertise with significant investment in bespoke systems for a smooth build process and an enhanced customer journey.
On the marketing side, Kirsty Darcy has recently been appointed as Marketing Communications Manager and a graphic designer and web designer will soon join the team to develop the Duchy Homes website, promotional materials, and refine the Duchy Homes brand.
The success of each of its regions means there has also been a massive investment in placing skilled people in vital job roles across Yorkshire, the North East, the North West and the Midlands.
Jonathan Millea was appointed in October as Head of Land for Yorkshire and will soon be joined by an Estimator to help process land opportunities.
Three new team members have been welcomed in the North West as Emma Neal, Christine Hunt and Peter Hines take up the posts of Divisional Administrator, Sales Manager and Site Manager ahead of the region’s first launch of an impressive development in Bunbury in the new year.
The newest division based at Henley-in-Arden has also been bolstered by the arrival of Ben Sandford as Technical Manager and Dene Shadbolt as Commercial Manager for the Midlands.
With the UK showing a growing demand for new premium homes and many exciting new plots coming up in 2018, 2019 and 2020, Duchy Homes is really excited about delivering more of its signature new builds of which residents and local communities will be immensely proud.
