Hellingly homes development proves strength of local property market

A new homes development in Hellingly is proving the strength of the property market in the area, as over 50 per cent of the homes have been sold in less than three months.

Ashberry Homes is currently building a collection of 46 private homes at its Magnolia Gardens development, located off Church Street in Hellingly.

The housebuilder has already sold 24 of the 46 homes available at Magnolia Gardens since the development opened its doors in late January, with all of the properties bought off-plan.

Natalie Hughes, Sales Manager for Ashberry Homes, said:

“We are delighted at the success of Magnolia Gardens, which has benefited from a string of sales from the moment we launched the development earlier this year.

“There was a quiet expectation that the development would be a hit with a range of buyers due to the good mix of homes here and its location to the north of Hailsham, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to great local amenities.

“To have sold so many of the homes off-plan is an amazing feat and one we are very proud of. This has given our buyers the opportunity to choose from a range of interior fittings and make their new home their own.

“We are now looking forward to welcoming our first residents to Magnolia Gardens and seeing the development flourish into a thriving new community in Hellingly.”

Now selling from the development’s on-site sales office, Ashberry Homes has also been supported by Hailsham-based estate agents Fox & Sons.

Hannah Thomas, Senior New Homes Area Manager at Fox & Sons said:

“The interest we’ve been getting in Magnolia Gardens is incredible, and the reservations have been phenomenal, especially as it’s all been off-plan.

“It shows that if the product is right, with a good finish and sensibly priced, and if the selling team are knowledgeable about Help to Buy and honest with the customers, then a housing development can sell at an impressive rate.”
