New £9m+ affordable housing scheme unveiled in New Malden

A new scheme to deliver 41 affordable homes has been successfully completed in New Malden.

The development known as Albany House boasts a stunning collection of contemporary one, two- and three-bedroom apartments, offering the very best in modern living. Delivered by property developer Skillcrown, on behalf of housing association Wandle, the latest affordable housing scheme built over 5 storeys, features intricate brick detailing and roof solar panels providing significant benefits to the environment. Tastefully designed, space and light are prominent throughout the Albany House apartments, with large windows, fitted kitchens and stylish bathrooms. Each home benefits from a balcony or winter garden to selected apartments, as well as car parking and cycle store spaces.

Located on Burlington Road, residents are situated moments from Raynes Park and Motspur Park mainline station, both of which provide only a half an hour journey to Central London. With Wimbledon and Kingston upon Thames on its doorstep, Albany House is surrounded by a diverse community, with easy access to a fantastic selection of amenities including shops, restaurants and bars, leisure facilities and an abundance of green parks and open space for relaxation.

Yinka Bolaji, Executive Director – Property and Development at Wandle, said “We are very pleased to have worked with Skillcrown again, on another development of much needed affordable homes in south London.
