A leading sustainable building envelope specialist, Schueco UK, has announced that it has achieved CORGI Fenestration Registration – the first UK aluminium systems provider to do so.
CORGI Fenestration Registration is a recognition of a company’s commitment to high standards of trust, reliability, expertise and quality. By attaining registration, Schueco UK has been recognised as a UK leader in glazing company management and customer service and as an organisation committed to maximising professional development within its workforce.
Since the CORGI mark is recognised by 74 per cent of UK customers* as evidence of a quality company delivering a quality service, it will prove invaluable to Schueco UK and its national network of Partner fabricators and installers.
Chris Mayne, CEO of CORGI Fenestration comments:
“It was Schueco’s commitment to training as well as its well-founded reputation for the best engineered systems available in the UK that made the company a prime target for CORGI Fenestration. We think CORGI and Schueco are a perfect fit.”
The whole supply chain can achieve CORGI Fenestration Registration – from system houses, fabricators and component and IGU manufacturers through to installers and repair & maintenance services. The scheme covers both the commercial and domestic building sectors.
CORGI Fenestration has established a set of strict criteria for companies through which the highest of standards and management best practice can be recognised and publicised, such as QMS (Quality Management Systems).
Products covered include: windows, roof windows, roof lights and roof lanterns, doors, conservatories, orangeries, glazed extensions, sun-rooms, tiled roof glass extensions, replacement conservatory roofs, porches, shop fronts, curtain walls, fascias, bargeboards, cladding, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
CORGI Fenestration accepts all glazing sector qualifications awarded by partner organisations’ GQA Qualifications. Staff with these qualifications can now be issued with their personal CORGI Fenestration branded card and will be listed on a Skills Register.
