Sidey’s ‘flush’ solution for housing developments

This revolutionary externally flush tilt & turn window is an ideal solution for any building project, as it has been specifically designed to prevent the framework from overlapping to give a more ‘flush’ appearance.

The Sidey flush tilt & turn also overcomes aperture limitations. The window opening up to 1450mm width x 2300 height maximum, allows for a generous flood of natural light and ventilation into the building. Suitable applications include: new build apartments, housing, hotels, offices, health, education and public buildings.

Collaboration

Sidey recently collaborated and provided flush tilt & turn windows for a project in Edinburgh that was a mixed tenure development boasting both luxury and affordable housing.

All windows achieved a U-value of 1.4w/m²K and were manufactured to Secured By Design (SBD) standard. As well as Flush Tilt & Turn windows, our aluminium triple and twin track sliding patio doors were used in RAL 7016 outside and white inside.

All products fully complied with the design specification to provide an aesthetically pleasing, energy efficient, noise reducing, low maintenance, safe and easy to clean fenestration solution. Sidey also provided a full airtightness solution to all the windows and structural wind and barrier loading calculations as some of blocks were up to six stories.
