Storming success for Southbank

Having opened early this year to much anticipation, Redrow’s Southbank development near Boston Spa has gone from strength to strength.

In just 16 months since St Andrew’s Place launched, The Rectory launched last November, Redrow has sold a total of 44 new homes.

The popular development is divided into two outlets and offers two very different, equally distinctive, product ranges.

The Regent Collection homes of St Andrew’s Place boast Georgian architectural influences, while at The Rectory there are the Arts & Crafts inspired exteriors of Redrow’s Heritage Collection. A mixture of stone and partial or full rendering has been used to reflect the local vernacular.

Such has been the demand that there are only four homes in total currently available. More homes at The Rectory will be released soon.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said:

“Both collections have gone down really well with buyers as, together, they offer something for everyone.

“The location has been very popular and it’s not hard to see why. Southbank has easy access into beautiful Boston Spa – with its shops, post office, pubs, library and monthly farmers’ market – and Newton Kyme itself is in a lovely tranquil setting amongst rolling countryside and near to the picturesque River Wharfe.

“We do still have a choice of homes available but it’s diminishing all the time. Currently we have some four-bedroom homes available at St Andrews Place, with more set to be released soon, and at The Rectory we’ve just released some very impressive large family homes. Those interested should come and see our three show homes quickly as we don’t expect the new releases to be around for long.”

Word of mouth has worked well for Southbank too with four happy customers recommending the homes to their friends.

With Wetherby and Tadcaster also nearby, there’s an even wider range of amenities for buyers to make the most of, including a good choice of schools. The cities of Leeds, Harrogate and York are also readily accessible thanks to the proximity of the A1 and A64.
