Independent housebuilder, Redcliffe Homes has been named 49th in Insider Media’s South West 250, an annual ranking celebrating the region’s leading privately owned businesses.
The South West 250 recognises high-performing companies headquartered across the region, spanning a range of sectors and highlighting businesses that drive the regional economy through employment, investment and sustained commercial success. The list is independently researched and compiled using data from Companies House, Market IQ and other publicly available sources, with qualifying businesses required to have an annual turnover between £25m and £200m and pre-tax profits of at least £1.5m. Companies are ranked by profitability, based on filed financial accounts within a 27-month period to 31 March 2026.

The recognition comes during a period of sustained growth for Redcliffe Homes. In 2025, the business delivered 116 homes across the South West, increased plot sales 78%, and grew its headcount by 12%.
The company also invested over £83,000 in local charities, schools and community organisations during the year.
