Avant Homes appoints group head of customer services as part of ongoing expansion plans

Avant Homes has hired a group head of customer services to help provide the business with the platform for continued nationwide expansion.

Amy Crisp joins from Persimmon Homes where she was regional head of customer care. She has nine years’ experience working in the housebuilding industry, having also held similar positions at Countryside and Taylor Wimpey.

In her new role, she will lead the company’s customer services department across its eight regional offices which are located throughout Scotland, the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands.

Commenting on her new position, Amy said:

“Supporting and advising customers during their homebuying journey with best-in-class service is something I take great pride in.

“Joining Avant Homes at a time when the business is expanding at pace presents me with an exciting opportunity. I am looking forward to leading our customer services teams and further enhancing our customer-centric approach as we continue to scale.”

Avant Homes Group, which has its head office in Barlborough, near Chesterfield, employs more than 600 people and has the ambition to grow further across its existing regions and beyond, creating communities and providing employment opportunities for many.

The housebuilder has a medium-term strategic objective to sell more than 6,000 new homes per annum.

Welcoming Amy to the business, Avant Homes regional chairman, Mark Cook, said:

“We are very pleased that Amy has decided to join us to lead group customer service function.

“She has a wealth of knowledge and experience, which makes her ideally placed to lead and inspire our customer service teams as we deliver our growth plans.

“I look forward to working closely with Amy to ensure we provide excellent levels of customer service across our business as we grow within our existing regions and open new ones.”
