NIBE APPOINTS EXPECT DISTRIBUTION AS ITS NEW TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS PARTNER

NIBE Energy Systems has announced a new partnership for its heat pump deliveries,  appointing Expect Distribution to provide UK wide transport coverage from 1st June 2021.  The transport and logistics company will support NIBE in enhancing its service to installers,  with improved product tracking and delivery timescales.

Robin Adderley, Sales and Marketing Director of NIBE, said: “The heat pump sector is going  from strength to strength, and we can expect this to continue in the coming years as we  move towards the UK’s net zero carbon target. As a company, we are taking every step we  can to support installers so they can deliver heat pumps into homes across the country, and  our partnership with Expect Distribution is a huge part of our efforts to improve deliveries and  product lead times.”

Expect Distribution is an award-winning service recognised for its dynamic approach to  transport and warehousing with a reputation for reliability and flexibility. Its distribution facility  based in Bradford is adjacent to the M606, perfectly located for quick access to the  motorway network to meet the needs of NIBE installers and customers across the UK.

Robin Adderley adds: “Covid-19 understandably placed strain on the transportation sector  and this new chapter will help us to move forwards in the best way possible. We know that  our installers will particularly welcome the implementation of an integrated IT solution,  offering control over the dispatching of orders and tracking of vehicles. This will further  support the recent improvements to internal processes to ensure that our estimated delivery  times are more accurate.”

The partnership will go live on 1st June 2021, with NIBE expecting some disruption to its  delivery service on 28th May, and 31st May as a result of the transition.

Neil Rushworth, Managing Director at Expect Distribution, said: “We are really looking  forward to working with NIBE as their nominated logistics provider. This partnership is a  prime example of how we create solutions at Expect to match the needs of the client, and we  will be working on a number of continuous improvements which have already been outlined  in our negotiations with the NIBE team.

NIBE is a progressive business with significant and targeted growth plans; we are delighted  to be involved in providing a solid platform to support these and hopefully forming a lasting  partnership between the two companies.”

NIBE Energy Systems is also seeking a dedicated Supply Chain/Stock Analyst, who will  work closely with the dedicated NIBE team at the Expect Distribution facility. The chosen  candidate will be responsible for production forecasting and maintaining stock accuracy to  ensure customer demand can be fulfilled.
