Tewkesbury Borough mayor officially opens village housing development

The Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough, Councillor Kashan Pervaiz has officially opened a new housing development in the Gloucestershire village of Alderton.

Last Friday (6 February), Cllr. Pervaiz cut the ribbon at Willowbank Meadows, a brand new collection of 48 contemporary homes by housebuilder, Owl Homes.

Cllr. Pervaiz joined Owl Homes’ sales manager, Grace Potts; sales advisor Kaitlyn Harvey; and assistant site manager, Aaron Preston to officially open Willowbank Meadows, where he also took a tour of the newly unveiled Leamington showhome.

The Leamington showhome has been designed by Edward Thomas Interiors and features warm, Scandi styling including light woods, earthy tones and plush textures. Not to be missed are the creative studio/study on the ground floor or the playful Spongebob Squarepants themed bedroom that will certainly appeal to younger househunters.

Owl Homes’ Sales Manager, Grace Potts adds: “It’s always an exciting to milestone to open the showhome doors for the first time and launch a new development, so we’re especially grateful to Cllr. Pervaiz for helping us mark the occasion.

“Willowbank Meadows marks our third development launch in four months, indicating not only fantastic growth but also an expansion of the Owl brand into the Cotswolds. With plenty of visitors joining us on our opening weekend, we’re confident Willowbank Meadows will become a thriving new community,” says Grace.

Willowbank Meadows is situated on Alderton’s western edge, perfectly positioned for everyday convenience and countryside calm. Owl Homes is building six distinctive house types, ideal for all house hunters, from first-time buyers to those looking to downsize.
