Reducing the energy we consume is important for the environment and our wallets. In our homes the largest energy consumer is the heating system and in the 21st century home we need more than a wall timer and thermostat.
A heating solution should offer room by room control. You should be able to set the exact temperature you want at the exact time you need it, both in the home and when you are away.
It should be capable to work with all types of heating systems: wet or dry, radiators or underfloor (UFH), heat pumps or gas boilers. Also, for a heating system to be truly effective it needs to be integrated with the ventilation, humidity monitoring and the hot water system.

The Theben LUXORLiving system is more than just heating control, it is designed as a full home automation solution.
Using a 30-year proven building automation system at its core, KNX. This is not a collection of interoperable gadgets with multiple different apps.
Being KNX based means investment security is guaranteed. You are not tied to a single manufacturer – upgrade to full KNX a any time with no hardware changes.
Weather station
Blinds and awnings can be operated according to the local weather. A fitted weather station measures the light level on three axes, has a rain sensor, and accurately measures wind speed.
Shading can be controlled dependent upon the exact position of the sun. This prevents overheating in the summer but can be used to warm your house for free in the winter.
The ventilation can be boosted due to high humidity or CO levels and by simply integrating smoke and heat sensors you can have remote warnings if they activate.
You can even create your own scenes for the home – to include pre-set lighting and heating levels.
And don’t forget Alexa or Google for voice control.
