New 58-home collection launches at Edgehill Park on 25 September – with energy-efficient technology built in

That’s the thinking behind the Scenik Collection by Story Homes, launching at Heights at Edgehill Park in Whitehaven on 25 September.
The new 58-home collection puts contemporary design, clever use of space and energy efficiency at the heart of a new take on terrace living. Offering one to four-bedroom homes, the Scenik Collection combines distinctive architectural detailing with flexible layouts, private outdoor space and features designed for how people live now.
And with the energy price cap set to rise by 4% from October*, energy efficiency couldn’t be more relevant. Research commissioned by Story Homes found that 29.6% of people would be most encouraged to move by lower energy bills or a more energy-efficient home – more than those looking for extra space (27.8%) or a higher-quality home (26.1%).
At Heights at Edgehill Park, every home will come with an air source heat pump – making it the first Story Homes development where all homes will feature the technology – alongside solar PV panels and an electric vehicle charging point.
But the Scenik Collection isn’t just about energy efficiency. It’s about making better use of the space you actually have.
The Story Homes Moving Home Report 2026 found that 65.8% of people believe a well-designed layout matters more than the size of a home, while 65.5% say flexible rooms that can adapt to changing needs are important.
The Scenik Collection has been designed with exactly that in mind. Contemporary terrace homes make efficient use of space without compromising on how they feel to live in, with layouts that can adapt as life changes.

Story Homes has been building in Whitehaven for more than 16 years, with 500 legal completions across its developments in the town.
The first homes go on sale at Heights at Edgehill Park on 25 September, with a dedicated Scenik Collection show home planned for Autumn 2027.
